Signing Up for HStreaming Cloud

HStreaming Cloud is the only cloud service providing continuous real-time data processing on Hadoop. It allows for instantly running real-time and batch processing queries in the cloud. It is hosted and works seamlessly with your Amazon Web Services (AWS) account. In the sign-up process you will be asked to open an HStreaming account and link it with an AWS account.

1. Open a free HStreaming Cloud account

During the sign-up process, we will send you a confirmation email to verify your email address.

2. You will be guided to subscribe to the HStreaming Cloud product on Amazon AWS.

If you do not yet have an Amazon AWS account, you will also be prompted to sign up for a free account with Amazon AWS.

3. You will be led to copy the AWS Access keys to HStreaming account in order to link your two accounts.

AWS Access keys are necessary for HStreaming Cloud to programmatically connect to AWS to launch, manage, and shut-down machine instances each time you put a request through HStreaming Cloud console. All instances are launched under your AWS user account. HStreaming is following a strict Privacy policy and communicates programmatically with AWS only when requested by you and only to the extent of your request.

4. You are ready to start your first real-time job on Hadoop.

Note: the subscription to both Amazon AWS account and HStreaming Cloud account is free; you will only be billed when you use the service.
