Jana is a business development executive with over 10 years of experience. Prior to HStreaming, Jana worked at Citigroup as Director of Performance Management, one of the key initiatives in the banks reengineering efforts. She has extensive experience managing large cross-functional projects and product development in multinational settings. Jana holds an MBA degree in marketing and finance from Kellogg School of Management.

Jan is a systems architect and researcher. Before HStreaming, Jan held an R&D and doctoral candidate position at University of Karlsruhe, where he pursued research on operating systems, networked and distributed systems, and virtualization. As part of his graduate program he worked at IBM Watson Research and at VMWare R&D. Jan holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Karlsruhe, Germany.

Volkmar is a big data visionary. Before HStreaming, Volkmar spent five years at IBM Watson Research working on among others cloud computing utilizing IBM's Blue Gene supercomputer and a massive scale low-latency stream processing platform. Prior to IBM, he was the lead architect of the L4 microkernel which is commercially deployed in over a billion cell phones. Volkmar has published numerous papers, holds multiple patents, and is actively participating in the research community. He holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Karlsruhe, Germany.

Katrin is a simulation researcher. Prior to HStreaming, Katrin held an R&D and doctoral candidate position at University of Karlsruhe, where she pursued research on numerical simulation and efficient management of complex simulation data. As part of her graduate program she worked at MIT, where she focused on improving simulation processes to optimize productivity, saving time and material costs. Katrin received several fellowships and academic awards for her research. She holds a PhD in Engineering from the University of Karlsruhe, Germany.
